Richard Barrett is an internationally recognized speaker, author and consultant on values-based leadership.  He works with CEOs and senior executives in North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia to develop values-driven organizational cultures that strengthen financial performance, build cultural capital, and support sustainable development. Richard Barrett is also the creator of the internationally recognized Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT) which have been used to support more than 1000 organizations in 42 countries in their transformational journeys.

Director-General Intermon Oxfam. Ariane Arpa is a Graduate in Political Sciences and International Relations and in Arab Philology.  She started her professional career in 1988 in a private company as organisational and management consultant.  Later on, she was in charge of reinsurance and held the position of director respectively in two important insurance companies.

Her professional path has given her the opportunity to gain  in-depth knowledge of the Magreb and Middle East countries, which she visited very frequently.  Since her joining Intermˆ„n Oxfam, she also visited various African, Asian and Latin-American countries to get to know first-hand the work carried out by the Intermˆ„n Oxfam teams and local organisations.

María Zapata is the founder of Ashoka Spain and presently Director International Operations of Ashoka Innovators for the Public. María joined Ashoka in October 2002, after having held positions for 8 years with General Electric in various countries, such as Mexico, U.S.A., United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Spain. Her responsibilities included Finances, Sales, Integration of Acquisitions, Processing Engineering etc. During her stay in Mexico, Maria collaborated with Ashoka promoting the E2 programme, with the purpose to stimulate cooperation between Social Entrepreneurs and Commercial Entrepreneurs. She has been a member of the GE Elfun Council (Volunteers Association of General Electric) and GE Fund Mexico, and Regional Director for Latin America of GE Women’s network.
