Some years have passed since the First Human Forum took place in Puerto Rico. Since then, we have held four more encounters in this hospitable country and a very recent one in Costa Rica.

These events have been very fruitful in the sharing of experiences, ideas, dreams, illusions, contacts and emotions. Through them, the mission and the vision of the Alliance have constantly expanded, person per person.

Within the development of the ANH, it has become a must and an evidence to give a qualitative and quantitative push in order to achieve one of our main goals : “to connect with individuals, communities and groups on a global scale”. The challenge to overcome the spatial limitations of this round planet, as well as those of our own organisational conditions, has been met. This has been possible thanks to the intention and the attention of numerous individuals who now belong to this same critical action group with the global transformation of our planet in mind.

Today, it is a tremendous pleasure to introduce and to invite them to share their proper essence in the first regional encounter set up by the ANH. This event will take place in the autumn of 2008 in Europe, where the number of members and followers recently has grown at an impressive speed. The city of Barcelona will host this event thanks to an animated and determined group of local agents. The support by the regional group has made this gathering possible. Their resourceful and generous spirit is passed on, step by step, to other parts of the world, stimulating the creation of new focal points. Thanks to this regional expansion, more and more initiatives for human solidarity will see the light. This solidarity originates from the evolution of conscience, which in turn will serve as the base of a new civilisation rooted in values such as sustainability, empathy and justice.

I am convinced that the regional ANH event of Barcelona will convert into a permanent platform for like-minded souls, groups and movements who, until now, have not had access to our core vision, a stimulus for connections and interconnections for human transformation.

The European perspective wants to reach far beyond a local glance. Quite to the contrary, it aims to enrich and expand the platforms of our work to a global level and will certainly shed new light and enrichment over our key points of view and actions. We need to share this vision in order to stimulate peace, the opening of individual conscience, social justice, the natural balance of our planet, health, sustainability, peaceful cohabitation... a wide range of positive intentions we are firmly committed to since the start of our collective journey.

Barcelona is a key focal point for the opening of the ANH to unity and multi-diversity. And an opportunity to thrive as an organisation, expanding our mission and promoting the change we would like to see reflected over the entire planet.

A worthy and balanced planet for all.

Our meeting in Barcelona from 7th to 9th November will not be the same without you. It will be an honour and a pleasure for us to receive you there.
